Mimi Lufkin to Speak at NWHM Forum

NWHM invites you to attend “Breaking In: Women & STEM, Then and Now,” the sixth forum in its Initiating Change/Adapting to Change lecture series on Thursday, November 20 at 6:30 pm at The GWU Morton Auditorium, 805 21 St. NW, Washington, DC 20052.

This program will examine the historical and contemporary aspects of women’s participation in STEM education and careers as well as its impact on American society. Professor Regina Morantz-Sanchez (University of Michigan) and Mimi Lufkin (Chief Executive Officer of the National Alliance for Partnerships in Equity) are the speakers for the event.

The one-hour discussion will take place at The Morton Auditorium located on The George Washington University’s campus at 6:30 pm, followed by a reception from 7:30-8pm. General admission is $10 but there is a discount code available for NWHM members. Tickets are free for teachers and students with a valid student ID.
