Gender Summit Scheduled for November in DC

The Gender Summit 3– North America will take place in Washington, DC, on November 13-15, 2013, with the National Science Foundation as the lead partner.

Established in 2011, the Gender Summit has become the foremost forum for engaging top-level researchers, policy makers, science and innovation leaders, and other actors and stakeholders in STEM, to address gender issues in research and innovation where they impact on efficacy, quality, and success of these sectors. The theme for this year’s summit is “Diversity Fueling Excellence in Research and Innovation.” It is a call for action, based on persuasive evidence that it matters for science excellence, and for society, to have both women and men as researchers, as subjects of research, and as leaders.

Register for the summit to participate in these important conversations and network with researchers, policy makers, and STEM stakeholders. Space is limited so make sure to register to attend the summit today! Visit www.gender-summit.com for additional details about the summit. Read Flyer
