Welcome to Dr. Ricardo Romanillos!

All of us at NAPE are excited to announce the addition of Ricardo Romanillos, EdD, Director of Professional Learning, to the team. Ricardo brings background as a science teacher and Director of Secondary Science Curriculum and Instruction at Richardson Independent School District in Richardson, TX. His significant practical experience as an educator and working with educators to improve STEM education and success for diverse students at the secondary level will enhance the team’s capacity to support professional learning. Ricardo has also served as a NAPE Instructor since 2016 where he has been conducting professional development on NAPE’s Micromessaging to Reach and Teach Every Student and related programs. His dissertation research at Johns Hopkins University was on teacher self-efficacy with diverse student groups. Ricardo brings a career-long commitment and passion for equity to his new role–please join us in welcoming him to NAPE.
