DeVos Looks to Ease Rules on Federal Funding for Religious Colleges

The Trump administration is launching a new effort to ease restrictions on how religious colleges access and use federal funding, according to a copy of the Education Department’s spring regulatory agenda reviewed by POLITICO. Secretary Betsy DeVos, in the coming months, plans to review and rewrite regulations that govern how faith-based colleges receive federal funding – and how they are permitted to use that money.
