Solving the Education Equation

During a briefing on Capitol Hill on September 25, 2015, NAPE and the Johns Hopkins School of Education released Solving the Education Equation: A new model for improving STEM workforce outcomes through academic equity. The report was developed with significant input from the Multi-stakeholder Coalition for Building a Diverse U.S. STEM Workforce. Read Press Release

The report highlights the need to rebalance the education equation to create the equitable learning environments necessary to improve the STEM literacy and competency of nation’s increasingly diverse students. Building a strong STEM workforce is critical to expanding and strengthening our high-tech workforce, significantly increasing federal, state, and local tax revenues, and addressing the growing threats of terrorism and environmental extremes.
