What is NAPE?
The National Alliance for Partnerships in Equity (NAPE) is a consortium of state and local agencies, corporations, and national organizations that collaborate to create equitable and diverse classrooms and workplaces where there are no barriers to opportunities.

 What does NAPE do?
  • Focuses on improving the achievement of students and special populations in secondary and postsecondary programs that lead to high-skill, high-wage, and nontraditional careers

  • Develops educational materials that promote equitable learning environments

  • Analyzes federal accountability data and publishes reports to impact public policy and local program improvement

  • Provides technical assistance to states and local agencies regarding the implementation of Perkins, WIA, Title IX, TANF, and other legislation related to education and workforce development

  • Disseminates position papers in response to legislation being developed in Congress

  • Partners with other organizations to conduct research and implement model programs

  • Provides input to federal education and workforce development agencies, such as the USDOE OVAE

  • Conducts professional development workshops throughout the country

  • Hosts the premier Professional Development Institute for equity professionals each Spring in Washington, D.C.

  • Maintains a members-only list serve with free updates, publications, links, and resources
